Hi, I'm Elisha, the owner of Local Hero Coffee Roasters.

​

Coffee has been at the centre of my career for many years, and I've been fortunate to work across many parts of the industry, from barista and trainer to machine technician, quality control, and café support. Those experiences have given me a real appreciation for what goes into making consistently great coffee, and inspired me to create Local Hero with a simple goal: to roast coffee that people genuinely enjoy drinking every day.

These days, I spend my time roasting, tasting coffees, brewing, maintaining our equipment, and making sure every batch meets the standard I'd be proud to serve. I'm also the person behind our ever-changing lineup of weird and wonderful toastie creations, because great coffee deserves great food.​

Taking a hands-on approach allows me to focus on consistency, quality, and bringing out the best in everything we serve.
